The Academy works closely with a range of organisations and individuals in the pursuit of establishing excellent provision for our pupils. Although not exhaustive, we have included some information below.
Teaching School Alliance
Manor Farm Academy works with a range of local schools in order to operate ‘Equate Teaching School’. This ensures the staff working within the academy have access to high quality professional development, resulting in high quality teaching and learning for our pupils.
Neighbourhood Police Team
We work in partnership with our Neighbourhood Police Team. Through this partnership, children benefit from regular curriculum input from Police Officers and Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs). This provides a positive contribution to the education of our children, as well as developing positive attitudes regarding their role in the community.
We work with numerous music specialists who are able to offer music tuition for our pupils. We will offer extra curricular music lessons to children from Year 3 upwards.
We receive very good quality support from Reverend Andy Jackson-Parr who is our local Church representative. He, along with other members of the Church community, promote spiritual, moral, social and cultural development within our curriculum, helping our pupils to become good citizens in society today.
Specialist coaches are used to enhance the quality of learning within our PE sessions. Hockey, football and tennis coaches are representative of some of the provision we offer. Sessions run within the academy day and also as part of our extra-curricular offer for Year 1 upwards.
