At Manor Farm Academy, The Village Kids Club provides a high quality, inclusive child care setting.
During term time, this child centred provision is comprised of a daily Breakfast Club and an After School Club. Dependent on sufficient demand, a holiday club also operates for parents who wish to access this service.
The Breakfast Club is open daily from 7.45am – 9.00am . A healthy, nutritious breakfast is provided for pupils during this time.
The After School Club runs daily from 3.30 – 6.00pm where a light snack is provided for pupils.
If there is sufficient demand, child care is also provided in the school holidays from 8.00-5.30. It is not open at Christmas or during bank holidays.
The Village Kids Club is Ofsted registered on the Early Years Register. It has recently been awarded 'Outstanding in all areas'. This means that it supports children’s learning and development, with a particular emphasis on the EYFS Curriculum to a very high standard. It provides quality care in a safe and stimulating environment, giving children access to a variety of games, toys and activities. Equally, staff work in close partnership with the Academy to ensure that the transition between the school day and beyond is as seamless as possible. Beyond the Academy setting, outings to theme parks, the theatre and bowling during the holidays are organised.
